Cover Reveal: Faking It by Cora Carmack

11 Feb 2013

Hey guys! I'm thrilled to be taking part in the cover reveal for Cora Carmack's newest novel, Faking It, companion novel to Losing It. I'm sure you've all heard of Losing Itright(If you haven't, shame on you!!) The cover for Losing It is so delicious and swoon-worthy (Garrick is HOT) and looks like the cover for Faking It can rival the hotness of the first book :)
Check out the cover below! <3

Mackenzie "Max" Miller has a problem. Her parents have arrived in town for a surprise visit, and if they see her dyed hair, tattoos, and piercings, they just might disown her. Even worse, they're expecting to meet a nice, wholesome boyfriend, not a guy named Mace who has a neck tattoo and plays in a band. All her lies are about to come crashing down around her, but then she meets Cade.

Cade moved to Philadelphia to act and to leave his problems behind in Texas. So far though, he's kept the problems and had very little opportunity to take the stage. When Max approaches him in a coffee shop with a crazy request to pretend to be her boyfriend, he agrees to play the part. But when Cade plays the role a little too well, they're forced to keep the ruse going. And the more they fake the relationship, the more real it begins to feel.

I have to admit, I think I like the cover of Losing It a tiny bit better, mainly because I think Garrick is hotter :D

What do you think of cover? :)

If you haven't read Losing It yet, make sure you rectify that ASAP! The paperback will be released in the US on 26th February :) Don't miss out!
Also, if you love contests, Cora is hosting a Love Letter contest where you have the chance to win a signed copy of Losing It and other extras! Be sure to enter :)

  3. I'm not the biggest contemporary fan, but this cover is practically irresistible. I love it! It makes me want to... well, BE her, lol. I must read Losing It soon, it seems.

  4. I need to read the first book (even though I was a bit hesitant to). But I've heard nothing but amazing things about it.

  5. Ooooo so excited for this Shirley! I have LOSING IT on my list to read in a couple weeks and I cannot wait! I'm madly in love with the New Adult genre and I'm loving the premise for this book. I'm thinking it will be predictable, but I'd be upset if things don't end the way I want them to, so predictable will work for me in this case!

  6. I'm one of the few people who haven't read Losing It yet I know shame on me! (See what I mean about this always happening when I pop over onto your blog! ;) But I love the cover to Faking It, and it's blurb reminds me of a book I recently devoured and loved! So I know I will end up loving this too! Thanks for sharing this gorgeous cover with us Shirley! :)

  7. Ooo, what a scandalous position! And I haven't read LOSING YET, but it sounds like I must. Especially if there's a hot boy in it. ;)

P.S. Every time I'm here, I admire how clean and pretty your blog design is, Shirley. Love the pink and grey and white!

  8. I haven't read the first book yet, but these covers sure are persuasive! ;) I actually think I might like this cover a little more than Losing It. It's the sexy dark hair. ;)

    Thanks for sharing, Shirley Wirley!

  9. I haven't read Losing It yet, I know, I suck. But I have heard such great things about it! I like this cover better than the first one, I thought the guy on the first one looked like he was about 12 years old so it kind of creeped me out. But I saw that on the PB release they are taking his face off! I really need to read these!
