Top 10 Books I've Read in 2011
[I'm going to have to say, this is in no particular order, since I truly loved each and every one of these books and putting them in order from 1-10 is just..well...impossible!]
1. Divergent by Veronica Roth
2. Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
3. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
4. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
5. The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa
6. Hunting Lila by Sarah Alderson
7. Vampire Academy Series (Okayy, this isn't ONE book, but 6 books! But umm...I'm just going to break the rules here and add the entire series :) I don't know why I waited till 2011 to read this series - I should've read it years ago! Definitely one of my favourite series ever!!)
8. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
9. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
10. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
What were your Top 10 books of 2011? :D
I really need to read the Iron Knight. I'm so far behind. Only read Iron King so far in the series.
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! I also include the entire Vampire Academy series! I don't know why I waited either! I also included The Hunger Games, Clockwork Angel, and Delirium. But I have Shatter Me and Under The Never Sky on my TBR list. I also did enjoy Lola and the Boy Next Door as well and The Iron Knight.
ReplyDeleteMy Top 10 of 2011
So I'm screaming YESSSSSSSS!!! to every book on your list (except Clockwork Angel, don't kill me!). And want to gush about each individual title and spam your comment section like crazy haha. But I shall resist. I LOVED these books, 2011 was such an incredible reading year.... and 2012 looks set to rise the bar ten times freaking higher.
ReplyDeleteI think Divergent is the book I have most recommending to people this year <3 And UTNS may be the one I most recommend when it comes out in the US :D
Perfect List! Completely agree with everything! 2 books I haven't read from your list : Under the Never Sky and Hunting Lila! Must read it soon! :)
ReplyDeleteDivergent is on my list too, I think it's probably on everyone's list this year!
ReplyDeleteMy top ten
Great list! I've read only Lola & VA#1 this year & The Hunger Games before 2011, but the rest are on my tbr list!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I need to read Divergent still lol.

Lesley LOL I wanted to say the same thing! XD Divergent seems to be loved by almost everyone. (In fact, I've only met one person who didn't love it, but gave it 2 stars! *gasp*) I can only agree with your list. Well, I don't know why all you people pick Clockwork Prince, but with this exception, I love your list! : D
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays,
Patricia
Great list! Every single one of these I've either read or I'm DYING to read. I've owned Divergent for a while but haven't read it yet, and according to pretty everyone I talk to I really need to get on that! Haha. Hunting Lila also looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower! :)
