Q.If you could have dinner with your favourite book character, who would you eat with and what would you serve?

Harry Potter and his gang :) We'll sit with the rest of Gryffindor and eat the delicious food in the Great Hall. Then, we can visit Hogsmeade and drink Butterbears at the Hog's Head! Oh, and we can also eat Chocolate Frogs, Acid Pops, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans etc...you get the picture.

“What is your favorite Halloween costume?Even if you don’t celebrate, what kinds of costumes do you like?”

Hmm...I've never dressed up for halloween, and don't usually celebrate it. Truthfully, I don't think I've ever seen a real person dressed up in a Halloween costume! Maybe realllyyyy scary costumes? I don't know!

If you could have characters from a particular book meet and form an epic storyline with characters from a particular TV series, which would you choose and why?

Ooohh, interesting question! I don't know, maybe NIKITA and VAMPIRE ACADEMY? Nikita's more about spies, undercover agents and is full of action & gun shooting while, VA is about vampires. Complete opposites ehh? But I was thinking of a show down between Nikita and Rose since they're both strong, determined kick-ass heroines (but of course, with different skills). Wouldn't it be interesting to see these two together in a story ?

“What is your favorite spooky book (i.e. mystery/suspense, thriller, ghost story, etc.)?”
Truthfully, I haven't read any spooky books lately; I can't stomach scary ghost stories & every time I read them, I can't sleep at night. (Even watching Scary Movie 4 made me sleep with the lights on, so how can I read scary books?) But a few years back, I read a book called SADIE and I was absolutely terrified! Can't find the book on goodreads at the moment since I forgot the author, but it was a great book :)

Q.Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one??

Haha, I like this question! Don't get me wrong - I love the 'good guys'- but in almost every single book out  there, it's always the good that triumphs over evil. I've wanted to try a book where the villain actually wins, but I've had no luck.(Obviously) So, in Halo by Alexandra Adornetto, I really wanted the bad guys (Jake) to win so that the book would just end already. I did not care for the characters, so I would have been happier if Jake and killed all the angels. Oh and it would've been nice if the main girl had fallen for the bad guy as well, since I just could not tolerate her & Xavier's romance. Urgh.

“Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn’t read that genre anymore?”

I read primarily YA, but I also read other genres - paranormal romance, adult fiction, historical fiction, crime etc. The world would be a very sad place if authors stopped writing YA :(, but I guess I'll still survive. I'll probably just start reading crime fiction again, & Jodi Picoult's books!

Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

I think this will be a common answer, but really, I've never hated an ending of a book more than this one. So, BREAKING DAWN. What on earth happened?!?! My will be SPOILERY so beware!

In fact, I didn't just have a problem with the ending of Breaking Dawn, but I disliked the entire book. Nothing happened. Seriously. The whole book could've been written in like 100 pages and 3/4 of the book was pretty much dedicated to Bella's pregnancy. And then, along came the baby. I personally don't have a problem with the name Renesme but what on earth was Meyer thinking when she nicknamed her NESSIE? Why the hell would anyone name their child after the Loch Ness Monster?  Then, there was this whole building up of tension and excitement and I was totally pumped for the fight between the vamps (with the assistance of werewolves). However, after a nice little chat and a stroll around, the bad guys decided to leave. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CLIMAX? What happened to the amazingly intense action and vamp fighting that was supposed to take place?!?! Gosh, I was so pissed when I read it. Finally, the ending. Happily Ever After.

“What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation? (If your next season is other than fall/autumn, tell us about it and what you are most looking forward to in your part of the world!)”

Well, it's currently Spring here in Australia and I happen to love Spring! Well, I'm looking forward to finishing all my major exams for this year & going overseas in 2 weeks! That means no school for 3 weeks :) I haven't read much since school started (it's been hectic), so I'll be bringing along a whole load of books to read on the plane =D Oh, and I'm looking forward to celebrating my parents + my birthday (all in Spring!) - it'll be fun :)

Q. In books like the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series the paranormal creature in question "comes out of the closet" and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical
creature do you wish would come out of the closet, for real?

Truthfully, I wish all paranormal creatures- angels, vampires, demons, faeries, etc. would come out of the closet! I'd love to meet them :) But maybe I'll rule out demons and vampires, since demons are destructive and scary, and vampires will probably start killing people in the middle of the night. (oops, except Adrian of course!!) So, I think  I'd rather have just angels and faeries reveal themselves to the world :)

Q. Non-book-related this week!! Do you have pets?
No, I don't. (mainly because my mum is scared of animals, haha , and also because I live in a townhouse, and pets aren't allowed...I think..) I used to own a rabbit, but then my grandma gave it away :(

What about you?

Anyways, have a great weekend guys!

Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or if you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with?

Since I'm still a teenager, I probably won't be able to fully answer the first question, but when I was a young teenager, I used to love children's books and certain YA books. I loved Twilight (as did almost everyone at school), but now I'm over it. As an older teenager, I've grown to like adult fiction, crime & thrillers. I read pretty much everything now although I must admit, the whole Twilight phase got me started on paranormal romance which is currently my favourite genre!

“Let’s talk crazy book titles! Highlight one or two (or as many as you like!) titles in your personal collection that have the most interesting titles! If you can’t find any, feel free to find one on the internet!”

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Weird as it is working for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, Evie’s always thought of herself as normal. Sure, her best friend is a mermaid, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she's falling for a shape-shifter, and she's the only person who can see through paranormals' glamours, but still. Normal.

Only now paranormals are dying, and Evie's dreams are filled with haunting voices and mysterious prophecies. She soon realizes that there may be a link between her abilities and the sudden rash of deaths. Not only that, but she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.

So much for normal.

I love this title! As soon as I read the title, I knew I just had to read it!

Across Europe by Kangaroo by Joseph R. Barry

I came across this title online, and it immediately caught my attention. I have no idea what this book is about, but it definitely sounds like an interesting read!

Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid read, or did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?)

A lot of my favourite books/series would've influenced me in many ways, but there's one particular book that immediately jumped to my mind when I read the question.Briar Roseby Jane Yolen. It was set during the Holocaust, and it was such a powerful and emotional read for me. After reading this, I was more interested in studying history and learning more about WW2. It also taught me to value my life & everyone around me, because really, who knows what will happen tomorrow?

QWhat is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?

Anna dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake! I haven't read a horror book in ages, and I don't remember any of the horror books I've read being particularly frightening...I'm definitely looking forward to reading this!!
